About Kirksey Machine Company

Kirksey Machine was founded in 1976 by Mr. Clarence Kirksey. Having spent many years in the valve business, Mr. Kirksey saw the need for quick solutions and product turnaround for his customers in the Gulf Coast area. Mr. Kirksey founded the company on the principles of hard work, honesty, and integrity, which the company continues to live by today.

At its inception, Kirksey Machine was located at 3517 Pinemont and was barely 1,800 square feet with its main function being the machining of fittings and flanges. In 1985, Kirksey Machine expanded its scope of work and started working on trim changes and other internal valve modifications for the refining, chemical, and petrochemical plants here in the Gulf Coast area. In order to keep up with increasing demand and an increasing customer base, the shop expanded in 1990, 1993, 1997, and 2004. By 2011 Kirksey Machine had expanded to 25,000+ square feet under roof.

In 2014, in order to increase our ability to provide fast, quality service to our customers, Kirksey Machine decided that the only way to do that was to expand yet again, unfortunately we were out of room at our existing location. In April of 2015 the first concrete was poured, and in December of 2015, Kirksey Machine officially moved into our new facility at 8721 Clay Road. We are proud to say that our under roof shop size has almost doubled at over 45,000 square feet, complete with 10 over head cranes ranging from 1 ton to 10 ton and enabling us to add additional machinery, weld equipment, test equipment and personnel in order to better serve what is most important, our customers. In keeping with the founding principles which Mr. Kirksey established, we are continually working to meet all of your requirements of delivery and quality service on all of your valve modification needs.
